To access Google Workspace, visit http://gdrive.uga.edu. You will be directed to UGA SSO, where you should log in with your MyID and password and ArchPass.

Google Workspace at UGA gives you a secure place to access your UGA-related documents, all for free with your UGA MyID account. In Google Workspace, you can easily access multiple Google tools, including Drive, Docs, Forms, Sheet and Slides, and collaborate on files from those tools with colleagues and classmates. You also have access to Google Meet, an online meeting tool, as well as Google Maps, Google Keep and Jamboard.

Currently, our instance excludes email and calendaring to avoid duplication of services. The Microsoft Office 365 platform is the University’s current primary email and calendaring solution.

EITS will continue to re-evaluate service offerings, and additional services may be rolled out in future phases based off campus needs and feedback.

After you leave UGA, you lose access to your MyID and UGAMail, which means you will lose access to your Google Workspace at UGA account and all documents stored within it. If you have documents or other files you wish to keep, we recommend you move them to a personal Google account before you leave the university.

You can find more information about your MyID account and connected services that are disabled after leaving UGA here.
